We are thrilled to announce the screening of A DOCTOR OF MY OWN at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health at 12 PM on May 6th, 2015 in Baltimore, MD. The screening will be hosted by the African Public Health Network (APHN) in the Becton Dickinson Auditorium (W1020) and will feature an in-person discussion with film director Trisha Pasricha.
We are thrilled to announce that the New York University Global Institute of Public Health will be hosting a screening of “A DOCTOR OF MY OWN: The First Medical Students of Namibia” on April 9th, 2015 from 9 AM – 11 AM in New York, New York. Director Trisha Pasricha will be present at the screening in person for a Q&A following the film. Featured as part of the National Public Health Week celebration, the screening will be at the NYU Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, in the Shorin Performance Studio, Room 802.

We are excited to announce a screening of the documentary film A DOCTOR OF MY OWN: The First Medical Students of Namibia at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine on April 6th, 2015 in Philadelphia, PA. As the kick-off event for Public Health Week, the screening will take place in Reunion Hall of the John Morgan Building, Hamilton Walk from 5:00-6:30 PM with the film screening followed by a discussion panel with the film’s director, Trisha Pasricha, Dr. Kassa Darge (CHOP and Penn Med), and Harriet Okatch (Penn MPH student). The film will be hosted by the International Health Department in conjunction with the Global Medicine Club at the NYU School of Medicine.
