We are thrilled to announce a screening of “A DOCTOR OF MY OWN: The First Medical Students of Namibia” at the University of Texas Medical Branch at 5 PM on October 15th, 2015 in Galveston, TX. The film screening is hosted by UTMB PASS (Pan-African Student Society) and UTMB SIGHT (Students Improving Global Health Together).
The purpose of PASS is to foster a broad based educational goal that will involve socio-cultural awareness, community service, cohesiveness among members, and increasing academic success among members. SIGHT is a student organization at UTMB focused on health and medicine for the underserved, both locally and internationally.
