We are thrilled to announce the screening of “A DOCTOR OF MY OWN: The First Medical Students of Namibia” at the Yale University School of Medicine on April 8, 2015 in New Haven, CT from 6 PM – 7:30 PM. Following the film, Dr. Doruk Ozgediz, assistant professor in pediatric surgery at Yale, will facilitate a discussion on medical education and its relation to capacity-building in global health endeavors. Dr. Ozgediz co-founded the NGO Global Partners in Anesthesia and Surgery (GPAS) and has done extensive work in medical education in Uganda and the US.
